The mission of the Putnam County Youth Development Commission Court Appointed Special Advocate Program is to provide screened, trained, and qualified community volunteers who advocate for the best interest of children who are before the court as a result of abuse or neglect as defined by the Indiana Child Welfare Laws.
The CASA volunteers are appointed by the court to have regular in-person contact with children to gather fact based information and knowledge in pursuit of safe, permanent homes for the children involved in the court system.
We believe that every child should be given the opportunity to thrive in a safe, permanent, and loving home.
